ITALIAN Serie A side, SS Lazio has rejected a 700,000 euros (about N151,313,232 million) fee from German Bundesliga side, Werder Bremen for Super Eagles vice-captain, Ogenyi Onazi.
NaijaSportsXtra gathered from TMW that the first offer also a total of 4.5 million Euros will be paid by the Green and Whites to the Italian side by June 2016 if the Nigerian plays some certain number of matches.
The deal was said to have been turned down by Biancocelesti as its President Lotito insisted that 8 million Euros was the price tag for Onazi.
Another report on Fussballtransfers.com informed that the German could require the services of the combative midfielder.
Bremen's Sporting Director, Thomas Eichin did say: "I know the player, but in January there are many alternatives," he said.
Meanwhile, Onazi's countryman and Bremen's striker, Anthony Ujah has expressed his desire to see the out-of-favour Lazio midfielder play in the German Bundesliga.
"I want Onazi to play in the Bundesliga and Werder Bremen would be an option for him.

"He's a good friend, the vice-captain of our national team, a born fighter. It would be really nice for me to play with him, I hope you can get him here. "
